One of the biggest myths is that you need to be wealthy to leave a gift in your Will; this is not true.

You can support a cause you are passionate about and it does not impact you bank balance today.

Many everyday Australians are choosing to include charitable gifts in their Wills. They know they can look after both their loved ones and the causes they cared about during their lifetime.

What can I leave as a Gift in my Will?

A gift that is legally binding by the last and up to date Will. A gift can be a variety of different actions. It can be either:

Residuary gift: After making provision for your family and loved ones, you can choose to give part or the balance of your estate to Stroke Foundation.

Percentage: You can leave a percentage of your entire estate.

Pecuniary gift: You can nominate to give a specific dollar value.

Specific items of value: You can give particular items, such as property, superannuation, shares and life insurance.

Whole estate: You can leave your entire estate to Stroke Foundation
