National Stroke Week 2016 Grant applications closing soon

The Stroke Foundation invites stroke survivor groups to apply for a National Stroke Week 2016 grant.

National Stroke Week is the Stroke Foundation’s annual awareness campaign which encouraging all Australians to take action to prevent and be aware of stroke. Around the country community groups, hospitals, pharmacies, workplaces and individuals get involved with a range of awareness activities including information stalls, morning teas, talks from stroke survivors, health checks, personal or team challenges, and fundraising.

All grant applicants will be registered as a Friend of the Stroke Foundation which includes $250 to support the promotion of their Stroke Week activity, a link to your groups details listed on the Enableme website, a Stroke Week kit and access to online resources. This is a great way to promote your group as well as get involved with your community in a fun and educational way.

The grant is a great way to promote the groups Stroke Week activity and raise their profile within their community.
