The National Stroke Foundation acknowledges the importance of professional development and support. The delivery of best practice stroke treatment and care requires specialist knowledge, training and skills.

We prioritise professional development activities related to the Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Management. The Foundation’s activities are often based on data from the National Stroke Audit, which reveals gaps in evidence-based practice, and focus on quality improvement.
