Our Programs
The National Stroke Foundation develops programs in response to the impact of stroke in Australia. We recognise the need to provide the greatest opportunities to prevent stroke and ensure that patients receive evidence-based care that improves the outcomes of those affected by stroke. You can find out more about our health professional and consumer programs.
Prevention and Awareness programs
We develop programs to improve the awareness of the signs of stroke, recognition of risk factors for stroke, and management and detection of blood pressure.
Stroke Support
Our stroke support programs connect stroke survivors and carers with services, support and each other.
Know your numbers
This program aims to raise awareness of high blood pressure in the community and work in partnership with pharmacies to have community health check stations and information available.
Stroke Champion Awards
The Stroke Champion Awards recognise people who demonstrate tireless dedication to their work in the field of stroke.
