In hospital after stroke. Who is looking after me? The stroke team.
You will meet a number of different health professionals while you are in hospital, who will work with you to treat the effects of your stroke. You and your family are important members of the team.
The health professionals will work with you and your family while you are in hospital. They may also help you when you go home.
The care you receive, and the health professionals who work with you will depend on the problems you are having after your stroke.
Talk to your doctor if you think you need to see a health professional who has not been available to you.
